4 Days + 4 Kids + A Bike

· biking,family

Riding a bike is a rite of passage for the child and the parent. Mutual feelings of resentment, excitement, and accomplishment are part of this passport to a world beyond the front lawn and driveway.

One of my fondest memories as a child was the joy bike riding brought. When I was on two wheels it meant going all-out, disregarding the distinctions among pavement, grass and mud, and returning home late from a day playing outside. It is a healthy pastime that I will never outgrow.

This past week Bella and Petie’s cousins, Lielle and Eitan visited our family from Montreal. We don’t get to see them often, so when we gather the troops we are always excited to create memorable times for our families.

Here is our journey of 4 days + 4 kids + a bike compiled in this interview and video below!
